Started playing drums when I heard Keith Moon on “I Can See For Miles”. Moved to Florida from the cold ocean of the North, was surfing at a local pier when I asked this dude “If you help me push start my VW I’ll give you a ride home.” That dude was Rich, we surfed, I met his buddies Nicky and Frank, we all surfed. And we played music… was out of the music scene for a time, but practiced every day. My friends Bill W. and Dr. Bob said its time to go out and show the world what this drummer can do. It was Christmas 2001, I sent Nicky a Christmas card and on the back I wrote, “If you need a drummer give me a call.” I passed the audition. The rest is history. |
